Camping In R.I.

A couple of weeks ago, we took a family trip to Charlestown, Rhode Island for a camping trip. It was a lot of fun. It was also a lot of work to prepare for the trip but worthwhile to see that the girls enjoyed the outdoors. The weather was very nice. We thought we were going to get rained on a few times but we lucked out. However; we picked the perfect weekend to go because the weekend after this one we were welcomed with Hurricane's Irene presence. So I would say, that we picked a good weekend to go camping because if we had picked the week after, it would'nt of been so fun.

A day at Fort Griswald

Today Josh, the girls, and Jodie who is here for a visit all went to this beautiful fort ten minutes from the house. Its a very tall fort so in order to climb the top you have to climb 166 steps. I wasn't able to go because I had a class to go to but I have been there before. When they all got back to the house, they all had red faces and were sweating. My guess is, they worked hard climbing to the top. LOL!

Memorial Day

On monday memorial day, Josh had the day off so we decided to go spend the day at mystic seaport which is a cool place to go and see some history and see some really old boats. There is even a lot of stuff to do for kids there like a children's museum and playcenter. It was a fun but tiring day. After we got home that night, we all decided a swim in the pool was needed. It happened to be a very warm and humid day on monday of course the only day we spend the day outside that it decides to get warm.
