A True Mothers Day Gift
Every mother's day, I think of the many wonderful things my children have taught me and what I have learned from them. This year, I have learned from them gratitude and being positive about life is everything. Rebecca my oldest, is always happy. Its not too often I hear her say negative things. She's always also willing to lend a helping hand to her younger sisters. If she sees one of them struggling with something, she jumps right in there and comes to the rescue. At the beggining of the school year, Rebecca has this girl in her first grade class that nobody likes to be around. Its not bcause this girl is mean but its because she looks different then the other kids and Rebecca noticed that the other children made fun of her. She told the kids to stop and that this girl needed a friend just like anyone else. Every since then, Rebecca and this girl named Emily have become tight friends because Rebecca showed her that she wasn't any different then her. For that, I'm grateful that Rebecca is kind to others and that she has a good heart. Now that I've talked about rebecca I can't leave my other two out. Natalie has grown up so much this year. Pre-k really has made her more socialable. Natalie is my shy, and timid one who doesn't like to have many friends or be around a lot of people. She loves to sing and dance. Everytime she sings, she smiles which makes me smile. Natalie when she's having a conversation with anyone, will stare them down with those big, blue eyes and just talk. She loves to draw. I've been quite amazed with her artwork that she creates for a preschooler. Natalie is an amazing 4 year old and I'm grateful to have her. Last but not least is my third girl samantha. Sami as everyone like to call her, is by far the spunkest two year old. She loves to play and explore and talk. Boy does she ever talk! LOL! She tells us when she's not happy, when she is happy, if she wants something ect. She is very smart and holds her own pretty well with two big sisters. She loves her big sisters. Often i see her holding at least one their hands and leading them away. :) Her favorite thing to do is to say prayers. She 's pretty good at it to. I'm very proud of my girls and what they have accomplished so far in their lives. I can't think of a better mother's day gift then to have my children in my lives and to watch them learn, grow and become young women someday. For that, I'm grateful for everyday I have with them. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mom's that are a part of my life.
